REMINISCING

 REMINISCING now, I realize that this week is one of the best weeks I have had. Deeper still in thought, I had to admit to my self that MY EXPECTATIONS WHERE VERY HIGH this week. Apart from that, I had POSITIVE CONFESSIONS done at the beginning of the week... Stating clearly WITH FAITH the things I wanted to achieve for the week. The week has not even ended and I have had all my expectations met. What am I bringing out of this? It is my testimony and most importantly, THE LESSONS I HAVE LEARNT FIRST HAND. I will like to share with you.  📌 1. Faith works, but faith without works is dead. 📌 2. Audible positive confessions are very important to the achievement of your vital goals. 📌 3. PRACTICAL PARENTING

  As parents, we need to be practical in the training of our children.  There is one thing we are guilty of as parents: we make a lot of threat that we do not carry out. We speak words like 'If you do that again I will discipline you'. The child does it again but we do nothing. We say 'If you don't change that habit, I will deal with you', child continues with the habit and we still give out more threats. These kids are quite smart and mentally alert, they begin to realize that you are all barks and no bites: all you do is threaten them without carrying out your threats. They may not change because all you do is give out empty threats. They may even begin to think to themselves or say among one another: "All mum/dad does is give threats and nothing more, I will do it/I will not do it and nothing will happen."  I once read about a parent who had repeatedly reprimanded the child about not safeguarding his school bag but the child didn't change.
