  This is a WAKE UP CALL for everyone. The picture attached to this write up is the picture of a girl I will like to refer to as El (real name withheld). I told her guardian to help me take the picture during one of my counselling (therapy) session with El. Before El's guardian took the picture I already told her that I will use it on our page. But I told the guardian I don't want El's face to be seen, so she took the picture from El's back view. This was done intentionally to protect El interest & privacy. At the time of this counselling/therapy session done, El was 12 years old. El is a girl enrolled in a boarding school by her mum who resides outside the country. In the said boarding school, she has a school mother and her school mother has a group of friends. I will like to refer to them as a sect or a cult. This is because during my finding I realize that they always target young girls who have parents abroad and they extort them. So, El became a target...

 One of the lessons I have learnt in life is that "It's not all gifts that should be accepted". Some gifts are given to lure you into trouble. Some are traps to make you fall or demote you.  Some people are sent of the enemy to cut short your glorious destiny. And what do they use? GIFTS! THE MOTIVE behind every gift given is what DETERMINES WHETHER such GIFT IS WORTHY OF ACCEPTANCE OR NOT.  Some have been lured into witchcraft because of a gift. Some have been deceived into becoming addicted to one vice or the other through a gift. Others have their lives monitored or controlled because of a gift they received which they were never suppose to. LEARN TO REFUSE SOME GIFTS.  BE DISCERNING.  Understanding human psychology can be a guide. Divine wisdom can be instrumental at this juncture.  REMINISCING now, I realize that this week is one of the best weeks I have had. Deeper still in thought, I had to admit to my self that MY EXPECTATIONS WHERE VERY HIGH this week. Apart from that, I had POSITIVE CONFESSIONS done at the beginning of the week... Stating clearly WITH FAITH the things I wanted to achieve for the week. The week has not even ended and I have had all my expectations met. What am I bringing out of this? It is my testimony and most importantly, THE LESSONS I HAVE LEARNT FIRST HAND.  LADIES,  Have you ever thought of it that whatever you put on your lips will find it's way into your mouth?  Now, the question is this: how edible are the things you apply on your lips?  The likes of lip sticks, lip gloss, lip balm and so on.  For your health's sake, be sure that the ingredients used in making those lip appliances (permit me to call them that 😉) are edible.  Before purchase, check the ingredients used in making these products one after the other.  You can go on Google search engine or other accessible search sites. Never really thought of the severity of this until now, but it's the truth...  Happenings around will control you & play on your subconscious IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MIND OF YOUR OWN. The only way you can have a mind of your own is through self awareness or self discovery. SELF AWARENESS is key. When you know who you are, you are not easily swayed, influenced or cajoled. You need to know yourself, then you won't loose yourself no matter the push and pull. Have a mind of your own, don't allow every wind of doctrine to control and toss you around.  MOST TIMES, PEOPLE TAKE GOOD PERSONS FOR GRANTED. People also take opportunities for granted.  There are some things or opportunities we enjoy sometimes that we don't appreciate until we loose them.  But it doesn't have to be so.  Learn to appreciate.  Appreciate people, value them.  Appreciate opportunities, maximize them.  See the good in everyone and every situation, so that when they are no longer there as they used to, you will know you harnessed the goodness in them.  On a lighter note, do you remember the days of 'There's God o'? Those were the good old days right? When we had better times. At least we didn't have this much hardship in this country.  That you are rich is not enough reason to spoil your children's life and future with the money. There is nothing wrong with pampering your child from time to time, but don't turn it into a norm. It will have negative effect on them in the long run.  Help them to know that MONEY IS WORKED FOR AND SHOULDN'T BE SQUANDERED.  The following conversation ensued between I and my 5 years old child when I was done bathing her one early morning.  When I asked her to come and take her bath that morning, she said she wanted to have her bath much later when the other kids would have theirs. But she is the youngest and I wanted to bathe her myself, so I INSISTED.  And serious cry started 😭. 😂.  When I was done bathing her, she said: "Why was I even crying when you told me to come and bath?"  Then, I responded: "So, even you didn't know why you were crying". Child: (smiling) "Bathing is good. It makes me fresh!"  Mother: (I just shook my head and laughed)  From the conversation above I was able to deduce that:   Children sometimes cry or throw tantrums for NO GOOD REASON.  Can you imagine she asked me why she was crying? 😂  Maybe her mind just told her: 'Cry' and she decided to cry without asking: "Why should I cry?" 😜😂😂😂. I COUNSEL. THAT IS THE MINISTRY GOD HAS CALLED ME INTO. More than 20 years ago, as a teenager, I noticed that I love to give 'free' advice to my friends and younger ones, even older ones who were willing to listen . This made me command so much respect in the area where I grew up then, even till now. I settled disputes and gave Counsel. I was a 'guide' and with the help of God, MADE IMPACT. I didn't do the things normal teenagers did. This must have been what mummy Mary Iyabo Faluyi-Somoye saw in me that made her refer to me as 'a very mature teenager' when she was discussing with daddy Olusola Omonijo. This must have been what aunty Kemi Aladesanmi (Kemi Dan-Owolabi) saw in me that made her choose #me to go to camp for Hi-crusaders (Foursquare teens) as their acting counsellor when she couldn't follow us immediately.
