ALWAYS TAKE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Image
If on the sea, use the life jacket.  If working in a polluted environment (smoke infested) or industrial waste, use the nose mask.  When tired, rest...  Please value your life enough to save it.

ENTICEMENT

One of the lessons I have learnt in life is that "It's not all gifts that should be accepted". Some gifts are given to lure you into trouble. Some are traps to make you fall or demote you.  Some people are sent of the enemy to cut short your glorious destiny. And what do they use? GIFTS! THE MOTIVE behind every gift given is what DETERMINES WHETHER such GIFT IS WORTHY OF ACCEPTANCE OR NOT.  Some have been lured into witchcraft because of a gift. Some have been deceived into becoming addicted to one vice or the other through a gift. Others have their lives monitored or controlled because of a gift they received which they were never suppose to. LEARN TO REFUSE SOME GIFTS.  BE DISCERNING.  Understanding human psychology can be a guide. Divine wisdom can be instrumental at this juncture. Many have fallen into ditches because of the kind of gifts or presents they have accepted. Have you ever heard the saying that "Na wetin person sabi chop na him dey kill person"? ...

DON'T TAKE GOOD PEOPLE FOR GRANTED

Image
MOST TIMES, PEOPLE TAKE GOOD PERSONS FOR GRANTED. People also take opportunities for granted.  There are some things or opportunities we enjoy sometimes that we don't appreciate until we loose them.  But it doesn't have to be so.  Learn to appreciate.  Appreciate people, value them.  Appreciate opportunities, maximize them.  See the good in everyone and every situation, so that when they are no longer there as they used to, you will know you harnessed the goodness in them.  On a lighter note, do you remember the days of 'There's God o'? Those were the good old days right? When we had better times. At least we didn't have this much hardship in this country. It is now that we refer to those days as better but in those days, we didn't realize that there will come a time that we will come to appreciate those days than this present day. In those days, people murmured, they complained about the government. In fact, they wanted the presidency to be chan...

THE OPPORTUNITIES YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN

Image
In life, there are times when opportunities are either given to us or handed down to us. Opportunities given are the ones you get NOT because you are related or affiliated to the the giver. Opportunities handed down are the ones you get BECAUSE OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP or affiliation to the giver. Some have been given opportunities that has turned them into billionaires. Maybe all they needed was capital to bring their ideas into reality. They get the money and boom! They become rich. This happened because they did not waste the opportunity they were given. They used it well, and become successful as a result. Many people have gotten some huge opportunities that they've wasted. This happens when the opportunity looks like a small deal or it is just not looking like an opportunity.  Thomas Edison said "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work".  Take note, NOT ALL Opportunities WILL LOOK LIKE OPPORTUNITIES at first, so it is le...

IMPACT

Image
Very few films can drive home lessons that makes me pause and do some critical, analytic and mind thundering reasoning about life, team work, progress or vision. The movie; 'Rise' is one of them.  "Rise" is based on the real-life story of the Antetokounmpo family who lived in Greece.  The family name is actually Adetokunbo.  Adetokunbo is a Nigerian name from the Yoruba descent. It means 'The King has returned from across the seas'.  The name Adetokunbo was later misspelt as 'Antetokounmpo' after going through the Greek auto-correct merciless screening 🤣.  The movie is majorly about the  brothers @giannis_an34, @thanasis_ante43 and @kostas__ante13 , the first trio of brothers to become NBA champions in league history - Giannis and Thanasis while playing for the Milwaukee Bucks and Kostas as a Los Angeles Laker. I was so touched by the series of events that took place in this movie. It is worthy of note that It is based on a true life story. And I am ...

My Thought

Image
Just wondering... Why is it that most rich people prefer to help their fellow rich? Most humans like to assist only those that can also be of assistance to them? Why can't you just help without expecting the one you helped to return the favor? Why have we turned THE MINISTRY OF HELP TO: "HELP ME, I HELP YOU" . Is that what religion teaches now? Is that what life and living is now based on? It is quite pathetic that some people have this wrong perspective; before they render any assistance, they gauge whether the one who needs it is capable of repaying it. Na this one dey pain me pass Have you noticed that if a rich man/woman is going to a fellow rich's party, they give expensive gift(s) like cars as birthday gift, wedding gift etc? But if the same rich man attends the party of one that is not wealthy or 'rich enough', they present gifts like bucket, glass cup, or 'baff'. Haba! This is not good enough! Give and expect your reward from God, because the...

A VOICE FOR YOU: The Writer!

Image
I was shocked some days ago when I saw one complete write up, I was even more amazed to realize who the author is. The reason is because credit was never given to the 'ACTUAL AUTHOR' even though some portions of this write up have been copied and pasted 101 times. Yeah, most of us are guilty of posting people's write up without giving credit to them or at least writing the word "COPIED" after posting. This is not nice . Courtesy demands that when we copy a write up, we write the word "COPIED" after posting and before sending. Another way to go about it is to write out the name of the author, but if you don't know the author then use the word "COPIED". Reason being that so many have taken the credit for others' sweat. The most annoying part is people commend you and say "Wow! You are a fantastic writer" and still you don't let them know you are not the writer of the piece? STOP TAKING THE CREDIT FOR ANOTHER MAN'S JOB. T...
