It's okay to take care of your physical outlook. But what of your mind?  What of your inner self?  It is what you are INSIDE that MATTERS MORE than your physical appearance⚡  I have been called names like 'small but mighty'. It is not because I am small like that oh 😁 (I am average height). But people call me that because they see my works: measure it with my physique and WONDER. Who do people say you are? Not the 'gbeboruns' oh, those that have objectively discovered the real you. Those that matter...who do they say you?   I just witnessed something now and my heart broke. A man got a bad news call while driving. The caller told him that his younger brother died. As a result the man driving had an accident.  I have some things to say about this. A moral we can all derive one lesson or two from. This message is to those people who are fond of calling people to relay bad news to them INSENSITIVELY. . .  First and foremost, if you don't have a choice but to give bad news through the phone to someone, ask questions before you do. Questions like "Where are you?" or/and "Are you driving?" or/and "Is someone with you?". The reason why you need to ask all or some of these questions is simple. 👉Your caution can save a life. . .  Don't break a bad news to a person without considering the state of their mind, health or circumstance they are in. Be sensitive. Be empathic. Be intentional. It doesn't take anything to go the extra mile in your relations with others. Please e...

 GIVING BIRTH TO, OR NURTURING CHILDREN IN DIASPORA (OUTSIDE YOUR COUNTRY) IS NOT AN EXCUSE NOT TO TEACH THEM YOUR LANGUAGE OR CULTURE! Even if they are Britons, Americans, Canadians by birth, it does not change the fact that they are still citizens of your mother/father land by blood. I respect this particular 'T' family (name withheld) and I will like to use them as a case study.  This family in question is a Yoruba family and they gave birth to and trained their children abroad. Nevertheless, I was impressed to see that the children could speak the Yoruba language and they know the Yoruba culture despite been born and brought up abroad. When I saw them here in Nigeria, they kneel or prostrate to greet their elders according to the Yoruba tradition.  I believe a whole lot of parents in diaspora should take a cue from them! LEARN FROM THE 'T' FAMILY!  Many people are being sold off in their own father/mother land because they were not taught the culture or language....

Mothers, teach your boys to love; to respect, to protect the girl child and not harm her. Teach them not to ignore, disrespect or raise their hands against her. Teach them the TRUTH! Fathers, treat the women in your life, especially your wife  with respect because your boy is watching. Parents, do your responsibilities because our future depends on it!
