DON'T GIVE UP!

It is only if you don't desire growth or success, that you will be satisfied with the position you are as a person. There ought to always be the quest to be better, larger, bigger or more blessed than you are right now. Be contented with the position you are in, but don't be comfortable. COMFORT-ZONE is when you believe you have achieved all you need to achieve, and you relax. THAT IS THE BEGINNING OF STAGNATION. Remember, stagnant water stinks!
Personally, I always set a goal for MY NEXT level per time. Nevertheless, it's not all the time that I achieve ALL the goals I set, but pursuing a goal helps me MAKE A STEADY PROGRESS.


I'm always having a PURSUIT per time.

There was a time I couldn't afford to buy anything for my parents, so I set it as a goal: "At so and so period of time, I will like to be able to take care of my parents on a higher scale." thank God I'm getting there.
For all the things I desire to achieve, that I have not, I DON'T GIVE UP, I press on.
I MAY NOT BE WHERE I'LL LOVE TO BE, BUT I'M NOT WHERE I USED TO BE!

Like, seriously, it baffles me. In fact, it amazes me. Maybe because I do not see admitting my fault as a big deal. I like to admit when I am wrong and apologize when need be. That is why it amazes me when people will rather lose years of meaningful relationship and friendship than say the simple words 'I am sorry'.  It is worthy of note though, that admitting your wrong and saying you are sorry to the offended party doesn't stop there. It goes beyond just saying it, you have to actually mean it when you say it. Some people say they are sorry just because they want that episode to pass. Then, they go and commit the same blunder again or even worse the next time. That is not good at all. I use the phrase 'not good' for lack of a stronger one.  See, saying sorry for your wrong doing (when you are sincere) does not reduce your person, worth or importance in any way. WHO ARE YOU RAISING?

Some time ago, I saw the video of a little girl of about 16 months old who took hold of a wallet full of money. She brought out 2 notes from it, tuck them in front of her dress (breast area) and closed the wallet back. She then stylishly put it back where she took it from.  I was shocked!  It is easy to deduce from that video that the child must have seen an adult do such at one time or the other. So, she is copying that adult (most likely a female who can steal and hide money in her bra). Who can she be mimicking? Giving the most probable assumption... Maybe her mother, how she secretly takes the father's money and tuck into her bra. She sees it done in her presence, and she does likewise.  Even if it isn't the mum she copied. The fact is that she saw something bad and she did likewise.
