NIGERIAN, WHAT LESSON HAVE YOU LEARNT?

I hardly spend time on Instagram, but yesterday I found out that I lingered. Why? I didn't know too but I got to find out later.
I saw many posts on a variety of issues during my 'adventures', but two major ones caught my eye. The first one was about:
🇳🇬 A lawyer who has been called to bar and was by the roadside working as a food vendor. It was obvious that she needed help and a lot of people had different things to say about the Nigerian situation and how it has caused her predicament. The one comment that caught my eye was the one that contains the statement "... there's no hope...". I had to bare my mind at that point (you know me na) that THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE FOR US IN THIS COUNTRY JUST LIKE THERE'S HOPE FOR A TREE THAT HAS BEEN CUT DOWN TO SPROUT AGAIN AT THE SCENT OF WATER.

🇳🇬 The second post that caught my attention was a video of 50cent where he explained how he sold vitamin water and made millions out of it. So someone said in the comment section that 50cent saw Water, People and Money and made the best of it. But what he (the commenter) sees in this country is "...Hardship, People and Money...". I had a very befitting response for this as well: this was my response 👇
"...TURN THE HARDSHIP TO MONEY; if you have not . I BELIEVE AS LONG AS THERE ARE PEOPLE, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE MONEY (Even when Hardship is visibly seen)”.

Where am I going with all of these? In Nigeria today, everyone needs to take the bull by the horn and start something; become an entrepreneur. Start a business. How? Look for a need to meet and meet that need: and that's how you'll make your own money. If white collar job is forthcoming, fine. If not, DON'T DEPEND ON ANYONE OR THE SYSTEM TO GET YOU A JOB.
THIS IS JUST THE REALITY OF THE ECONOMY WE FIND OURSELVES IN. AND WE HAVE TO BE NICE ENOUGH TO OURSELVES AND TELL ONE ANOTHER THE TRUTH. This is just part of the lesson I have learnt as a Nigerian.
What lesson have you learnt? Make it known in the comment section.
