WHAT IS THE WAY FORWARD, ‘JERUSALEM’?

I have witnessed conversations of how people place curses on this nation and her leaders too many times.

Though I correct such errors immediately, I can't help but shake my head at people who engage in such dastardly acts. We need to be responsible enough and do something. What can you do? You can START by praying… YES, pray; NO MATTER WHAT. It is Biblical to do so.

I just hope this pandemic ‘era’ has really taught people that there is really NO PLACE LIKE HOME. The truth is there is nowhere else to go (when you dispute this, remember the truth is bitter). If you travel far and wide, it does not change the fact that THIS IS HOME.

Okay, so our leaders are corrupt, greedy, self-seeking and the list is almost endless. But the question is: WILL CURSING THEM MAKE THINGS BETTER OR WORSE?

When it is time to replace leaders, DO THE NEEDFUL! But for now, the fact that they are still in power: WHETHER YOU LIKE THEM OR NOT, PRAY FOR THEM! When you do that, by extension you are praying for yourself. When you curse them, CURSED-PEOPLE will rule over you, but when you bless them, BLESSED-PEOPLE WILL BE YOUR RULERS! Yes ke!
THE NATION: - Personally I LOVE NIGERIA. Even if I travel abroad, I will always make my home here. Why? Because I DON'T BELIEVE GOD MAKES MISTAKE. And it is not a mistake that I was born here. THERE IS SOMETHING I AM DESTINED TO DO IN NIGERIA AS A NIGERIAN THAT IS LIVING IN NIGERIA THAT ONLY I CAN DO. Yes! I am unique like that. As long as I am a Nigerian, I will pray for the peace of this ‘Jerusalem’ (Psalm 112:6).
Nevertheless, I DON'T JUST PRAY, I DO my part (just like Jeremiah in the Bible); by putting up posts like this, by firmly but politely correcting those who litter our roads and streets…just to mention a few.

UNTIL WE REALLY SEE NIGERIA AS OUR OWN, IT WILL NEVER GET BETTER. When you see something as your own, what do you do? You guard it, you guide it, you treasure it, you protect it, you pray for it, you don't curse it!

IF NIGERIA MUST GET BETTER, THE CHANGE STARTS WITH YOU.
