HOW FATHER MBAKA HELPED MR OBI IN HIS POLITICAL AMBITION

If you are very conversant with the current news. you will realise that what has been trending in the news is the claim that Father Mbaka accused Mr Peter Obi (the Labour Party presidential aspirant) of being stingy.

According to the news, we learnt that Father Mbaka even went further to discourage people from voting Mr Obi in as the Nigerian President come 2023 because 'he is stingy'.

This has been the brouhaha in the news in recent times.

Admist this hullabaloo I have been able to learn a lesson or two. Follow me as I share the lessons learnt:

πŸ“Œ  When a person tries to expose your own weakness, they succeed in exposing theirs more. When a person tries to expose your flaws, most times, it reveals how unforgiving, bitter, or envious they are.

πŸ“In life, no matter how good, respectable or accomplished you are, some people will still speak ill of you. There is a Yoruba adage that is interpreted as: "Even if you pound yam and share in the market place, leaving no one out, you will still have enemies right there in the market". So, just live your life to the best of your ability.

πŸ“Œ THERE ARE SOME BAD THINGS people do to you or say about you THAT WORKS OUT FOR YOUR GOOD. So 'be calming down' and don't take it personal. A very good example is Joseph (Genesis 50:20) in the Bible; if his brothers didn't sell him into slavery, there's no way he would have become the Prime minister of Egypt. Read this: "God will use people being against you to move you into your purpose" Joel Osteen.

Narrowing it down, have you noticed that since Father Mbaka had made a hit on Mr Obi, Mr Obi has become more known and publicized and this has in no small measure increased his political popularity among Nigerians? Well, the upside of having 'naysayers'.

πŸ“ If you are a principled person, you will have problems and clashes with people who are not as principled as you: the things you do and the decisions you take will look strange and annoying to them. Always have that in mind.

πŸ“Œ No man owes you. If someone gives to you accept, if you are not given, don't take it personal because no man owes you. As long as they didn't borrow money from you, they don't owe you! This mindset will help you to stay true to yourself and not blame anyone for your financial shortcomings.

πŸ“Live right. You never know who is watching.
