TIME, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU AND ME
TIME CAN BE MORE QUALITATIVE
How qualitative are the things you do with your time?
Do you spend your time on frivolous things?
Some of these frivolous things can be smoking, womanizing, gossiping, gambling etc.
Some people use the bulk of their time doing the useless things and then, they dedicate the remnant of their time to the important things. That is what I call 'Misplacement of Priority'.
In one of my books titled "The Higher Calling" I gave an example there from the Bible of Martha and Mary: It explains the term, 'Misplacement of Priority '.
We have to be careful so we don't spend our time on irrelevant things under the guise of 'being busy'.
Those who make the best of their time are the most fruitful people. Being fruitful is one of the reasons why man was created.
It is part of man's purpose.
It is also a commandment from God.
Robert Kiyosaki the author of a book called 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' said: "Although both dads worked hard, I noticed that one dad had a habit of putting his brain to sleep when it comes to money matters, and the other had a habit of exercising his brain. The long-term result was that one dad grew stronger financially and the other grew weaker. It is not much different from a person who goes to the gym to exercise on a regular basis versus someone who sits on the couch watching television. Proper physical exercise increases your chances for health, and proper mental exercise increases your chances for wealth. Laziness decreases both health and wealth".
They both worked and were 'busy', but one got better result than the other.
Why? Because of the quality of what he used his time to achieve. The one that is not productive is referred to as 'lazy'!
So, how productive are the things you do with your time?
To be fruitful, we have to spend our time on productive things, instead of being 'lazy'.
