MY NAME IS OLUGBEMIGA

My name is Olugbemiga

Actually, during my growing up years, I was referred to as Olu.

Almost every one who called me Olu back then, didn't know what the full name is. Some people even thought it was just a nickname.

So, here you have it. It's my birth name and it is Olugbemiga in full. It is a Yoruba name meaning 'God has promoted me' and it literally means 'God has lifted me up'.

I was given that name because immediately after I was born, my dad's delayed and long awaited promotion which was long overdue was given to him.

This name was given to me by my late paternal Uncle; Rare Admiral Oladipupo Oduwaiye (Check my previous post for more juicy gists about him. (Also always stay tuned to this space and you will be blessed).

The name Olugbemiga or Gbenga for short is masculine, it is mostly given to male babies or children. But that was the name I was given 🤔🤔.

I believe my uncle had to shun the masculinity of that name and focus on the meaning and depth it conveys. Abi he could not come up with any other name (especially feminine) that best express his happiness concerning his younger brother's promotion, hence Olugbemiga?

Maybe.

Maybe not.

We can only speculate.

**(Note: When I say 'his younger brother', I mean my dad).

So, if you have been wandering why things worked out so well for you since you came in contact with me, now you know🤗.

Alert! I have been spreading promotion right from birth 😁😉.

Promotion sharing is my hobby. And may the promotion sharing continue!!! 😂😂

Another thing is; people's problems get solution immediately it is said within my earshot. But na God! No be me.

Keep enjoying the goodness of God through me.

I am here for you with lots of love,

I AM OLUGBEMIGA.
