REMINISCE, COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS, BE THANKFUL

It is good to reminisce sometimes. You know?

Think deep and count your blessings? This helps you to value the things you have enjoyed or are still enjoying. Then you will realize you have reasons to be thankful.

I read the story of someone who wasn't able to urinate for days and how it caused serious problems.

When you go to the toilet and pass waste (faeces and urine) seamlessly, don't see it as your right. Remember that some people's prayer point is that they be able to urinate or defecate.

People's inability to fart (mess or pollute - Nigeria slang) is a big deal. Make your findings well, to fart is a blessing.

We take sleep for granted because we do not realize what those suffering from insomnia (inability to sleep) have to go through.

Our breathing is not hindered. Some people pay hundreds of thousand for breath (oxygen). Yet you breathe unhindered and you are not thankful?

The alarming thing is that breathing, sleeping, urinating, defecating and the likes are things we see as little things or things that are minute. But when we are able to do these things, it adds BEAUTY, HOPE and EASE to life.

SO, COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS! You slept and woke up! You can talk, hear, raise your hands, dance, laugh, walk, you are mentally sound etc. THESE ARE BLESSINGS.

It is not only that huge alert, big contract, new baby and job that are blessings. There are other seemingly little things that even matter a whole lot that you can be thankful for.

You may not have those millions/billions you desire YET. But look deep, think deep now, count your blessings and be grateful. I believe gratitude makes room for more blessings.

It also helps to improve your mental health. It improves the mood; makes you exude a positive vibe and helps to give you a positive outlook towards life.

I CHOOSE TO BE GRATEFUL and not murmur, I choose to be optimistic instead of pessimistic, I choose to see good; I choose positivity and not negativity. I choose HOPE.

I choose laughter.

What about you?
