YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CHOOSE

We all have been given the free will to choose a lot of things in life.

Free will to choose the people we acquaint ourselves with, the kind of houses we live in, we choose the sort of clothes we wear and so on. We can freely choose all of those.

Nevertheless, the most important part of our lives was decided before we were born.

This is because there are some things, event and people in life we cannot choose.

For example, you don't choose the kind of body you are born with, you don't choose the day you are born. So also, you can not choose your parents, siblings and all your extended family.

Parents cannot choose their children, children can't choose their parents.

Family members do not choose relatives.

You may attend a gathering and you get introduced to unfamiliar people and be told, "This is your cousin" or "Meet your uncle" and so on.

We all just came into this world and find all that is listed above is the way they are.

The intriguing thing about all these is that since they cannot be changed, they have to be managed.

We can't choose our birth, our appearances because all these are circumstances beyond our control. The unsaid truth is that those choices are not within our power to make.

It is worthy of note though, that you can choose your responses to these people and circumstances,

You can choose your attitudes

And you can choose your actions.

So, What Happens to all The Aspects of Life that Cannot be Changed?

👉 Whatever cannot be changed has to be managed.

You need a lot of wisdom to handle the things, people and events you cannot change.

Mama Joyce Meyers couldn't choose a better father (she had an abusive father). But she made a beautiful message out of her mess.

You can choose a better life.

You may not be able to choose everything, but you can always choose how you live with those circumstances and things you cannot change or choose.
