AI vs STUDIO OWNERS
Rapidly AI is taking over the photo studio industry.
What is AI? And what does it do when it comes to photography?
AI is an acronym for Artificial Intelligence. It is a branch of computer science that uses computational models to perform tasks that previously required human intelligence.
To successfully use AI to generate pictures, all that is needed is the facial features of the person in the portrait you desire to recreate.
After you provide 'a face', AI goes over and above your expectations.
It gives you a beautiful background, a posture, add or remove objects, create entirely new images,
give new clothes, and even a new smile.
AI does so much that you will be shocked when you see the outcome it gives you.
The interesting current trend now is that people hardly visit the photo studio again.
I know people who take snap shots for their birthdays every year. They prefer AI pictures now than going to the studio.
After all said and done, the truth is that AI has come to stay and may not be going away any time soon.
What next then?
I ask because what cannot be changed has to be adjusted to or managed.
AI has gradually crept in to take the place of humans in performance of responsibilities.
We see this happening in areas like, the banking sector, farming, engineering and many other aspects, and of course, in photography as well.
My question now is, are photo studio owners/ managers finding this easy at all? Is it not affecting their business?
